Do Scabies Cause Red Rash Along With Burning Sensation?

I have a rash that comes and goes, usually it starts with a burning sensation before getting really red. I ve taken some pictures of it, sometimes it s patchy and sometimes a series of pinpricks and it seems consistent with scabies. But the rashes tend to stop itching and go away within an hour or so when I rub alcohol on them, which I ve been doing for the past year. I did three rounds of permethrin and cleaned the house thoroughly, and still it seems it won t go away. It usually reappears within a couple days to a week at most. Could it be scabies, or something else?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Scabies does not present like this.
This looks to be an allergic phenomenon as it goes away completely just o reappear.
Do not apply any medicine for scabies as it can cause a skin reaction and make your skin more vulnerable for such dermatitis of unknown origin.
I would advise you to consult a Dermatologist and get a proper diagnosis and treatment.
