Do Repeated Biopsies In A Short Span Of Time Show Inaccurate Results?

I just had a biopsy of my inner lip about 3 weeks ago. the results were negative but now the original sore has returned. While the oral surgeon diagnosed the original problem as a salivary gland problem, he wants to do another biopsy. Is it too soon to have another biopsy. i was told repeat biopsy s too soon can be inacurate.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if the clinical diagnosis demands the biopsy then it has to be done and some time single try may not be helpful and second or third may be necessary, hope this information helps.
