Do Patients Usually Get A Second Opinion Before A Cardiac
Do patients usually get a second opinion before a cardiac cath / possible stent? It seems to me that it is a risky procedure for the amount of information the doctor can obtain. Is it diagnostic or an actual treatment? I am 55yo female, not diabetic, apparently have had at least one silent heart attack, no true symptoms. My Doctor noticed some problem a couple months ago and put me on a holter monitor. As I understood, I am dropping about 20% of my heartbeats.
