What are the signs of ear wax.... I have been having pains for about 2 days and i can t hear clearly with my left ear. I covered my nostrils with my hands after breathing in and attempted to breath out, then there is the unusual sound and feeling from the left ear, as if there is mucus of something stuck inside

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for your concern.
The reason for your ear pain could be an infection.
The unusual sound that you feel is the air flowing through left ear after you block your nostrils.
Ear infection is the cause for decreased hearing in your left ear.
You have to take oral antibiotics twice daily for 5 days which would clear your infection.
Consult the nearest ENT physician for the prescription.
I find this answer helpful
