Do Missed Dosages Of Carvedilol And Prednisone Cause Any Side Effects?

Okay, so I know a person from out of state and they are asking me what will happen to them if they miss a dosage of their heartrate medicine called Carvedolol, Predisone, and Nifedical. They said they dont have any food at the moment to take the medicine and she knows how its going to affect her on an empty stomach. She don t know what will happen if she misses many dosages for a few days. What will happen? If you can help, I will greatly appreciate it.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If you miss a dosage of Carvedilol and Nifedical you may have raised hypertension and may experience a hypertensive crisis.
Missing Prednisone is not so dangerous but still has its side effects such inflammation increased, headache etc.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
