Do Low Blood Sugar Levels Cause Body Weakness?

My husband was supposed to go to the dr. He had weekness, could barely walk. I thought it might be a stroke but he wouln t go to the emergency room. He seems to be ok now. His blood sugar was 21. I gave him some glucose tabs and now he s playing w/the cat. Could his inability to walk and major vweekness be all due to his sug

Yes, very low blood sugar level leads to extreme weakness, even to the extent of inability to get up or walk. At low sugar level ,the person is mentally confused and incoherent. Some times he may go into coma.
