Do Giant Platelets In Pregnancy Cause Harm To The Fetus?
I am 33 years old and 8 weeks pregnant.My USG report is normal but my haematology report says many giant platelets. Platelet count is 1.50 lakhs/cu mm. Will it affect the baby. I have never been diagnosed with this problem before when I had my tests for cyst laporoscopy. I also suffered from chicken pox in May 2011, just 1 month prior to my concieving. could that be the reason?
