Do Genitals Warts Disappear On Their Own After Some Days?

Hello, I was recently diagnosed with genital warts; the first and only bump appeared on June 16th on my labia majora, it was a small single papule. Initially I thought it was related to jock itch (I had been riding my bike quite a bit.) I was scheduled to have it frozen off on July 9, however the bump disappeared on its own in less than two weeks. Is this even possible if it were indeed genital warts? Is there a possibility I was misdiagnosed? Thank you for any advice.
