Do Antibiotics Reduce The Efficacy Of Birth Control Pills?

I started taking amoxi-clav because I was bit by a dog and just started taking lo loestrin fe. I m about to finish my second week and I m wondering if the antibiotics will mess up my birth control, and if so, how long should I wait before having unprotected sex when I m done with my antibiotics?

Hi, I think you should use some other contraceptive like condom for 7 days after completing the course of antibiotics because birth control pill can have decreased efficacy. So, better to use some additional barrier method. Hope it helps.
