Do Acne Reoccur Upon Ceasing Minocycline?
I am currently taking minocyclin 50g for my acne. It isn t classed as severe but it is persistent. I am 30 and just started taking it. I can see that it is already working but I know this is something that shouldn t be taken long term. I have read a lot of reviews where previous users say their acne came back shortly after they had stopped taking minocyclin. I do not want this to happen obviously. Is this something that is rare or normal after one stops taking minocyclin???

Usually if the minocycline is effective after, say, a month of treatment, the acne doesn't return after it's discontinued.
Once it clears, I recommend benzoyl peroxide wash and supplemental vitamin E tablets
