Do Mycobacterium Avium Complex Affect The Condition Of Heart?

I have mycoavium complex..I had a severe bleed in 1998 and have undergone 3 regimens of antibiotic cocktails. I am to the stage of the MAC cocooning . One sack has attached itself to my heart. I have been ill for almost 3 weeks, thinking the flu, feeling a little better but what remains is a very heaviness in my arms and legs and shortness of breath when I try to ambulate. I am scheduled with my pulmologist in Iowa City whom I have not seen for several years. I have had 3 drs treating me overtime, locally in Des Moines, IA. I am weak, I feel like my current lung dr. Is not sure what to do at this point but I m not sure I can wait until March 27 to see dr in Iowa City. Should my next vist be to cardiologist? My current dr. Says this sack attached to my heart. Won t have any effect on my heart. I am not convinced. Do you have any information on this stage of MAC? I can t find anything online. I don t know what my next .
