Do Lisinopril And Norvasc Help In Lowering Blood Pressure?

I am on 10 mg of norvasc and 5 of liciniprol and after a shoulder pinch injury my blood pressure has risen. I weigh 297, male, 5 11 now averaging 147 over 96 pulse in the 80s . the 2nd part of my blood pressure in not normal for me. will adding 5 mil lincinoprol or norvasc lower this? thanks but no thanks for 15 bucks. my doctor wanted a sleep study done, insurence does not pay for it so if insuranse don t pay i will not have that done. I will try some over the counter sleeping pills instead and check in with my doctor next week, maybe try splitting pills to increase bp dosage and try that. ty anyway s for looking.

Hello,

As of now continue the present dose. Pain and stress can cause slight increase in blood pressure.

If blood pressure is persistently high, you can hike the dose of the pills after discussing with the treating physician only.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
