In 1997, at the age of 55, I was diagnosed with OPS. After15 days in the hosp, i spent three months in a nursing home and then continued recovery until I reached a 95% recovery. Three year ago, I had a period where I fell 11 times in 9 months, had physical therapy and was advised that I would have to start using a walker. I again recovered. Since last June, have had involuntary muscle twitches first in my lower legs and now throughout my body. A twitch in my left eye lasted three weeks. I am wondering if I should see a specialist other than Gunderson Clinic at LaCrosse,WI.
