Reduce or eliminate foods high in animal fat such as meat, eggs, and dairy products and try a vegetarian diet which consists of at least six servings of whole grain foods, four servings of green leafy vegetables, two to three servings of fruit, two to four servings of legumes, and one serving of non-fat dairy products daily. Do regular exercise such as fast walking, jogging, swimming, bicycling and walking up stairs. A good option is aerobic exercise (20-30 minutes) at least three times a week. Some home remedies also help to reduce cholesterol such as: Eat one clove of fresh garlic every morning. Eat one apple daily. Drink a lemon or pomelo juice several times a day For more info, check these sites: http://www.nature-medicine.info/cholesterol.html http://www.homeremediesguide.com
