Diagnosed With Chalazion On Lower Lid, Itchy And Painful. Started Augmentin. What Can I Do ?

I was diagnosed yesterday at Moorfields with a chalazion on my lower lid, never had one before, didn't know it existed. It is the size of a blueberry and pressing on my eyeball with some impaired vision. Very uncomfortable, at times very itchy and painful. Started augmentin antibiotics last week. Doing the hot compresses and massaging, as they said at moorfields, but don't see any difference. Actually it's worse this morning. I need to get it sorted before flying toi Thailand in 2 weeks.... What can I do?

It wouldn't go with only medication if it's a Chalazion(because it is a chronic infection). I would suggest Incision and curretage of the Chalazion under local anaesthesia. It's an outdoor procedure.
