3 months ago i felt a deep pimple coming on under my eye upper cheek area. A few days past and it just felt like two maybe three big deep pimples because it was a big red line almost scar type looking. Then recently it has turned big and purple and inflamed. it looks like a black eye, what should i do?

Hi,

Welcome to HCM,

You seem to have acne vulgaris..inflammatory type. There may be some factors which precipitate acne. You consult dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment. Antibiotics like azithromycine 500 thrice a week or minocycline 50 mg daily one for few months may be taken. Application of clindamycine or benzoyl peroxide 2.5 % may be applied. Avoid tension and stress. Oily food and milk might exacerbate the disease. You may be alright. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
