Dark brown vomit? For a few weeks I had been woken up with intense sharp abdominal pains and have had to rush to the toilet with diarrhea. For the past few months my stomach has been very upset with either constipation or diarrhea, there is no such thing as regular bowel movements. I have absolutely no appetite, when it all started I had lost 10lbs in one week, I was able to gain that back by forcing myself to eat. I went in to the doctor for this and they did labs, even a stool sample because I had seen some blood in it and everything came out "normal" and they recommended I see a GI but didn't give me anything to make it better nor did they refer me to see someone. There has also been throwing up here & there, but it only seems to happen right before eating, when I smell or taste the food (I also have hypoglycemia) This is what brought me here today. I have been feeling extremely exhausted and weak, especially today, and I have been going to the bathroom all day with diarrhea (I don't have to run but it's still diarrhea). When I sat down to have a lunchable for lunch as soon as I put a slice of ham in my mouth I had to run to the bathroom to vomit, right after vomiting I felt fine and finished my lunchable so I wouldn't pass out from not eating. I had a lunchable and some grapes then I laid down for a 2 hour nap. When I woke up from that nap the same thing happened, I sat down to eat something and before even smelling or tasting the food I had to go throw up. Except this time it was different, the vomit tasted a lot more like food this time and it was a very dark color almost like a mousey dark brown, more chunky, and a lot more of it. Two years ago I had a laparoscopy for endometriosis and the doc punctured my colon so idk if that could have something to do with it or not.
