Hello,
I am Dr.Neha Gupta (
dentist) and am glad to address to your query here.
To have straight teeth you can also fit porcelain veneers.
Veneer is thin, 2-3 mm, layer made of porcelain which is inserting on the front side of the teeth. The advantage of the veneer is that to fit it you do not damage natural layer of your own teeth. It can change the color of the tooth as well as the shape and also correct small irregularity of the occlusion.
However, if you are 14 I can highly recommend you a brace.
Because in your age it is very quick and easy to correct the alignment with a brace.
If you don't like to have a visible brace you can consider
invisalign or incognito lingual brace... they are completely invisible and correct your alignment like normal brace.
Take care and please keep me informed of your progress at healthcaremagic through my profile directly.
