Could The Upper Abdominal Pain Be Due To Pregnancy?

After I eat a large meal I get pain in my upper left abdomen with worse pain in my mid section of my back at the left. I am 16 weeks pregnant & had this pain before I was pregnant. It seems to stop when I eat less or diet which I m not doing at the moment because of my pregnancy.

Hi.
Pregnancy may hinder some investigation as are to be avoided .
Yet an MRI scan is a must to see the pancreas and other organs. MRI is very safe in Pregnancy.
As you have noted - the treatment is to take small frequent meals and now you can add Ranitidine 150 twice daily and see if this helps.
