Could The Sore Throat Causes Problem To The Labor Or Baby?

Hi ..My due date is Dec 13 which is 5 days from now . Now I have developed this throat pain and am not even able to swallow my saliva...due to this i am worried that i may develop fever...will this be a problem to my labor or baby ..and what medication you suggest for my throat pain ?

Any type of infection should be treated carefully in pregnancy.
According to your description there is possibility of throat infection.
Severe infection can affect mother and baby.
So better to treat the infection at early stage.
Consult gynecologist once, get examined and go for antibiotics and analgesic and anti inflammatory drugs with her advice.
You can also try household remedies like warm soups, tea with honey, stream inhalation etc.
