I had a girl friend contract a heart virus years ago while pregnant, then some years after that my ex husband contracted a heart virsus, both were caused by cold/flu.. My now significant other appears to be suffering some of the same affects I noted in my ex husband but back then I was not aware of, swelling of the face, and lower extremities, and a cough which sounds phlemy, but it s always light, to watery or just spitty. He s a hard pill,,, old football lineman, and auto mechanic so it is very difficult to talk to him about such issues, recently as well in the past 2 or 3 months his sex drive and erections have become sporadic and don t last long enough to complete the act... we do live with A HUGE AMOUNT OF STRESS, but we both deal with it in different ways... I try to soothe him, but he seems to prefer picking a fight, we are Hurricane Katrina survivors , and are still not back in our home due to property theft issues, and the loss of his business and loss of income generating properties....we were not rich, but lived a comfortable existence... now we live in one of the remaining rental properties which remains boarded, with no running water because the City refuses to give us any... I know all of this is bad and then some, but what I am worried about is the current and what appear to be lingering affects of this season s cold/flu.
