Could Sore Throat Be Due To Eating Food Which Had Melted Part Of Plastic Spoon?

Hi I cooked food in the wok today. I stirred it with a plastic spoon, not one you have to throw away after using but thick black spoon that you can use to stir food with. After I was done eating my food and I was ready to do the dishes, I saw that a small part of the soon was missing, it melted off. I m really freaking out at the moment, because I know that there s a danger with melt plastic. I didn t taste any plastic. But I do have a sore throat! Should I worry and go see the doctor?

hi, what is the size of the plastic that you have swallowed? if it is small (like a pea nut), ignore it. A large piece that chokes you need a ENT consultation. as you don't seem to have chocked, do not panic. finally, in either case, sore throat is not related to plastic. Hope this helped.
