I believe I broke the top joint of my pinky last night. It is very sore, swollen, and bruised. Also, the pain is spreading down my hand. Several years ago I broke the middle knuckle playing basketball but never had it fixed. I don't have full range of motion from that injury and want to avoid a similar fate with this one. However, I don't think it's as severe. Does it sound broken? Would they cast it if broken or splint it? Thank you.
