Could Severe Pressure In Pelvic Region Be Due To Preterm Labour?
Hello. I am 24 weeks and 2 days pregnant. A few hours ago I started experiencing what feels like pressure in my pelvis area along with pain when standing or walking but I can still feel my baby move although he seems to be a little lower than normal. Could I be experiencing preterm labor? And should I go to the ER?
I have read your question in detail and will try to help you in the best way possible.
Pain can usually be if other cause at this stage unless u had a trauma to the abdomen recently or u have noticed any bleed per vaginum. Cause of the pain could also be because of uterine contractions and that can lead to rumpture of the membrand around the baby and then pre term labour but still its too early for that. If you were my patient i would suggest you to do an ultrasound and the other tests needed at this stage and be surr about the normal health of the baby.
I hope this answered all your queries, if you have more queries,I will be happy to answer.
Wish you the best of health.
Regards.
