Could Severe Pain In Lower Abdomen Be Due To Constipation?

My 81 yr old mother is a renal patient of over 10 yrs and for the past 3-4 days has been experiencing pretty intense pain in her lower left side. Not sure if it s stomach or back but she s not eating and her legs are cold to the touch. We thought she may have been constipated and have treated with Apple and prune juice with no results

Hi,
As there is h/o renal problem in the past, this pain might be in connection with renal problem.
Go for routine urine check up and ultra sound abdomen to get exact nature of her problem.
Ok and take care.
