Could Severe Pain And Cramps In Knee Be Due To Arthritis?

My left knee has hurt constantly for several months except when I am sitting. When I get up from sitting or lying down I can barely walk. When I lie down to sleep I have a sensation that my knee is out of place and needs to be popped back into the socket, with pain and cramping in my calf. Now it feels as if my knee is popped out of place when I walk or stand and I feel weakness and pain when walking. Almost like my calf is disconnected from my knee.. Is this all due to arthritis? I have bad insurance and cannot afford the doctor
