Could Severe Headaches And Dizzy Spells Be Related To Dementia?

My husband has had a multitude of mini strokes making his brain older than he is and was diagnosed three years ago with beginning dementia. He suffers with mild to severe headaches 24/7 and occasionally dizzy spells. His blood pressure seems to rise when he had the dizzy spells. He is also starting to lose focus where his brain leaves the task he is on. My question is can these severe headachs and dizzy spells be related to the dementia? If so, how? We are currently changing neurologist because the current one never answers our questions he just wants to try new treatments. Thank you

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Changing your present doctor would be a good idea if you are not receiving a level of care with which you are comfortable.

The dizziness and headaches are not likely linked to his dementia, he may need additional assessment to determine the cause.
This may mean additional imaging.

I hope this helps
