Could Rubber Band Like Thing In Stools Mean Worms?

Last week I had the flu for five days, which turned into very bad upper stomach cramps and bloody stool. That went away and now, 3 days later, I struggled to pass what resembled a rubber band. It was very stretchy and felt like it was atached to me or part of me, I had to pull it out. Do I have some kind of worms?

Hello,

I don't know what is there in your mind or what is describing. Possible it may be tapeworm or it may haemorrhoids with prolapse.

Get it done stool examination and microscopy. Please consult your physician/gastroenterologist they will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
