Could Repetitive Picking Up Of Baby Causes Calcific Spur At MCP Joint?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...Hello I have a calcific spur of the mcp joint capsule. This has occurred in a new location a month ago now with severe pain limiting daily function. It is assumed to be related to repetitive motion of picking up my young baby. I have another area of calicification in the same joint capsule which has been injected with steroid under sonar guidance on two occasions within the last year with a good response. The new area of calcificaton was detected recently on sonar. So far no response to conservative management splinting etc. Would it be harmful to have another steroid injection or would I predispose myself to arthritis of the joint at a later stage. The pain is limiting daily activity what should I do? Thank you
