Could Recurring Light Brown Spot Near The Ear Opening Be Melanoma?

i was driving my convertable for 2 hours, unprotected by sunscreen, that evening a light brown spot appeared on my ear near the opening. I tried to scratch it off, I really couldn get a good lookn at it. next morning it was back . could this be melanoma, in just that short of time.

A melanoma would not develop in such a short of period of time, this takes a long time to show itself.

If the spot remains then you may need to be assessed by your doctor if it remains.
You can monitor for now to see if it remains.
