Could Prolonged Use Of Birth Control Pills Cause Difficulty In Conceiving?
Ive been using postinor 2 frequently as an emergency pill with every sexual intercourse for the past 2 years.. stopped using it last year june and ive been trying to conceive since then but no luck yet I have regular periods. Is the pill the cause for this.. pliz help
Yes, all such contraceptive pills have a side effect they carry which is very clearly explained on the label and also supposed to be explained by the doctor before the course is initiated. It can cause menstrual irregularities, inter-menstrual bleeds, etc; whilst on the pill and menstrual irregularities (at times temporary and some times permanent) when off the pill. If this is temporary (more likely) your doctor should be able to help you.
