Could Phlegm In Throat Be Due To The Usage Of Over The Counter Medication?

I seem to have a consistent hack in y throat that seems to be bothersome. There is a some flem that comes up when I try to clear, but its minimal. Hot tea seems to help but the irritation is still there. Is there a OTC treatment that could alleviate this issue?

it is a viscious cercle. first do warm saline gurgling and erythromycin oraly and injectable help. you can take ginger and honey for some relief.
