Hello,

I think you may be having impacted wax which causes pain. Other possibilities like otitis externa or eustachian tube block or middle ear infection etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. please don't keep any objects into ear. use water vapour inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. If symptomatic not improved please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
