Could Muscle Pain, Dizziness And Blurred Vision Be Due To Low Haemoglobin Levels?

How serious is my anemia?

WBC. -normal
RBC- normal
Hemoglobin- 9.9 G/DL
Hematocrit- 32.5%
MCV- 69fL
MCH- 20.9 PG
MCHC- 30.4 G/DL
RDW- 19.1%

I was told I'm anemic and prescribed 325 mg iron 3x daily. Took that and had chest pains. Is that a normal side effect of iron supplements? I stopped taking iron & had EKG that resulted normal. I have switched to a liquid non heme iron, low dose, and doing a little better. But, I still feel badly most days. I've only recently been told I was anemic, though I've experienced exhaustion and muscle pains off and on for years. Other more recent symptoms are hair loss, blurred vision, pica, dizziness, weakness. Are my levels at the point of causing these symptoms or are they from another cause? I am a 44 yr old female, and I know (according to dr.) my anemia is most likely from heavy periods. Am I at an urgently low level of iron?

Thanks in advance
