Could Mild Abdominal Pain Along With Brown Vaginal Bleeding Be Symptom Of Miscarriage?

Hello I found out I wqa pregnant 8/14 HCG levels 2850. LMP 7/20. US done but no sign of baby. Repeat blood test on 8/17 HCG levels 3800. Light spotting since finding out pregnant. Spotting got heavier on 8/21 to bright red. Went to hospital on 8/24 HCG levels 2850. Was told I was having a miscarriage. No ultrasound done. Today bleeding had turn to dark brown. My stomach is rather tight with very mild low abdominal pain. Am I truly having a miscarriage or could this be a loss of a twin? Please help!

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
It is unfortunate to tell that the symptoms and events what you have mentioned leads to miscarriage for what has happened. However, you need to confirm that all the products of conception has been expelled or not by means of an ultrasound scan of pelvis.
Kindly consult Gynecologist for appropriate management and advise.
Wish you all the best.
