General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Usually, if it was bug bite, it will subside in a few days after the bite if not infected. If the infection occurred, then, it might persist.

In the case of this teen, the bug was not potent, so there was little allergy reaction with no other complications like infection.

So, basically, keep it clean, apply antiseptic locally. Apply fusidic acid cream and aloe vera gel locally.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
