General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Normally a knot after trauma to head without any neurological symptoms, like nausea, vomiting, unconsciousness etc., is not too much worrisome but as your daughter is suffering from Von Willebrand disease, some time a minor bleeding can cause serious problems in these patients. I hope everything is ok but I will recommend you to see a doctor for proper evaluation of the hematoma (knot) that is formed and further bleeding if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Zia Ul Haq, General & Family Physician
