Could Knee Arthritis Cause Intermittent Groin Pain?

For the past 2 days I have been feeling a intermittent pain in my left groin that only lasts a few seconds but is pretty severe. i would describe it as if someone is pushing their thumb in my groin and then letting loose. It only happens a few times per hour...certainly not debilitating but curious if it is symtamatic of something that could get worse. Hernia ? I have been suffering from arthritis in my right knee and need a replacement which I have already had in my left so perhaps just walking with more weight on my left left has caused this ? Thanks

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that you are having osteoarthritis of both knees. You are also having occasionally pain in your groins. I think this pain can be due to refered pain of knees felt in the hips. Treatment of it is analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. You can discuss your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. You can also write to me directly on below link:
