Could Intake Of Anavar For Muscle Building Cause Delayed Periods?

Hello.. I am 9 days over due for my period, which normally is Like clock work.. I ve taken multiple store bought urine pregnancy tests that have came up negative for pregnancy.. I am having a lot of PMS symptoms which could also be pregnancy symptoms.. However this month I started dabbling into Anavar for muscle building.. Not taking as advised on a cycle basis but taking a 20mg tab every 3-4 days for about 3 weeks.. I was due to ovulate on the 1st of June ( I monitor my cycles ) and had unprotected sex 2 days prior.. Could this be the anavar messing up my cycle? Or would you think I am more than likely pregnant? Would the anavar have affects on the embryo this early on? If pregnant I would be 3 weeks today..

Hello,

You have been taking Anavar for muscle building, had unprotected sex 2 days prior ovulation and have missed periods. Your urine test for pregnancy is negative. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a gynecologist, get per vaginal examination done to confirm pregnancy. She may tell you to get USG (uterus) done. You will be treated accordingly if you are detected with ectopic / normal pregnancy. Sperms when inside the vagina can live for five days and cause conception.

However, Anavar is an anabolic steroid and can cause menstrual irregularities including the complete cessation of the monthly period. the after effects depends largely on the amount taken. Be careful while taking anabolic steroids as it may affect the bone mineral density.
