Could Inhaling Fumes Of Cleaning Product Cause Sore Throat, Loss Of Voice And Cough?

I recently spent several days cleaning my home (woodwork, paneling, showers, flooring etc. with the product Kaboom. I started with a sore throat and now have no voice and a deep chest cough. Could this be from inhaling the fumes of the cleaning product? Did see a Dr. and she said the throat didn t look very red and she didn t hear anything in the lungs.

Hello
You worked and spent several days for cleansing the house i.e. dusting , woodwork etc with a product Kaboon( actually I don't know the ingredient of this product ) .
But you developed chest congestion , sore throat and no voice , all these symptoms may be due to allergen produced by dust , flooring , woodwork and of course due to Kabbon.
In situation patient get allergy and this produces sore throat , voice loss and cough because of bronchoconstriction .
Infection and allergy are responsible for your problem.
In such cases I advise my patient to take LEVOFLOXACIN 10 mg / kg body weight , once in a day for 3 days .
Also take monteleukast+ bambuterol , one tablet once in day .
Hot saline gargles with anti septic solution will also provide relief.
Still no relief then consult a physician and get his opinion.
Hot coffee , ginger chewing also provide relief .
