Could Infrequent Stools Be A Symptom Of Partial Obstruction?

I have a 6 month old daughter with Down Syndrome. She has very infrequent stools, over 9 days sometimes. Has stools are the consistency of peanut butter and smell very foul. She nurses often and has several wet diapers a day. She is uncomftable before she passes a bowel movement. I am concerned about a partial obstruction.

HI
Well come to HCM
Your query is appreciate, I can understand your concern and I would like to inform you that it is not the obstruction but it seems to be infection if this is the viral infection then you will have to wait for three to four days, passing the stool three to four time in day is normal one but care need to be taken for dehydration, if the symptoms persist for days then stool need to be sent for lab test and consult the pediatrician, hope this information helps.
