Could Heaviness In Left Arm Be Due To Adderall?

Hi I am studying with my friend who is prescribed adderral. She is age 22 and about 125lb. She took her 20mg dose of Adderral IR and her left arm feels unusually heavy, particularly past the elbow (this has not happened before). Should we be concerned?

Dear thanks for the question.

This is side effect of adderal and you should be concerned. I would like to advise you to stop taking this medicine and visit doctor who has prescribed this and explain him. Request him to change the medicine if possible. However other possibilities can not be ruled out as it is only in one arm (adderal related problem could have affected both sides). Heaviness in hand can be due to over exertion, less rest, pressure on hand during sleep and injuries. So visit to a doctor is essential.

I hope I have answered your queries. I would love to answer subsequent queries if any. I would request you to kindly rate my reply. I wish your friend a great health. Thank you.
