Could Headache Be Due To High Dose Of Amlodipine?

hi im bp patient and bp usually remains at 90. some i use to get mild headache, doctor pescribed me to take medicine and now i am taking 7.5mg amlodipine ... i think the medicine are of high dose but i also cannot go beyond doctor s pescription .......... i got bp during my pregnancy and it continued after post partum. so i am in need of suggestion.

Hi,

For ages less than 55 without diabetes, 130/80 is ideal and you need titration. May be you can decrease the dose of 2.5 mg then wait for 2 weeks and recheck.
