Could Dry, Burning And Throbbing Throat And Headache Indicate Allergies?

Okay, so it s been 3 days, and my throat is like, dry, rough feeling and its burning and throbbing, and I cannot breath through the left side of my nose, and my head hurts, which isn t anything new, considering, I ve been going to a neurologist for 3 years, but is it allergies, or a cold, or what?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

IF the symptoms are acute and not recurrent (happen every now and then repeatedly), then it is likely a cold.

If you have a history of occasional episodes of these symptoms occurring then allergies are most likely.

The use of over the counter cough and cold medications used for nasal congestion along with an antihistamine (can normally be found combined), would help.

I hope this helps
