Could Bruising On Vertebrae Be Due To Nerve Damage?

Hi there, For about a month now I have what feels like a bruised area around my top three vertebrae starting at the one directly in between the tops of my shoulder blade. it feels deep but also when I touch and press on the vertebrae lightly its very painful. i think it happened when my 5 year son and I were wrestling he hit my back and it felt strange. it has on gotten worse as I have very strenuous job. could it be he struck me on the right place to cause nerve damage or anything else serious enough. thanks Kevin

May be you are right that you had struck on right place n there is some damage but first you should think also like that you get damage in muscle fibers n bone of vertebreae that also cause pain...if nevre damage is there than your main complain should be like these something strange sensetion or weakness in arm etc etc so mostly it should be superficial injury that cause pain n mostly muscle pain...
