I had a episode where I was having trouble seeing the room was dark like like it was dim. I had problems seeing who the person was right away. the next day I was going home and I could not remember how to get home, even now I feel like my house seems small closed in . could this be a stroke

thank you for posting question in healthcaremagic.com...

yes blurring of vision or disorientation both can be external features or signs of cerebral stroke...
but there are many other reasons behind a cerebral stroke or many other disorders are associated with blurring of vision and disorientation...

so a proper medical history as well as a clinical examination is mandatory to rule out other causes of stroke...

you have not mentioned your age, co morbidities like diabetes hypertension etc and also whether this was the first episode you have experienced....
however from your history it seemed like a TIA (transient ischemic attack)...but proper examination and some investigations are required to come to a diagnosis...

kindly inform me about the questions i asked and i would be able to tell you further about your problem...you can consult a PHYSICIAN also for thorough checkup and investigations....

hope that was helpful..
regards
