Could Blood In Phlegm Be A Matter Of Concern?

Hi there. About 5 weeks ago I started with bronchitis. Since then I have had two bouts of antibiotics - which have all been taken completely and puffers. 4 weeks ago I started with laryngitis -first time ever in my life. I still have the laryngitis. I will be seeing an ENT doctor soon, but today I coughed and brought up phlegm that was greenish but had darker red streaks in it. In general I am not a healthy person and have had a lot of surgeries and still have more surgeries to do. Syringomyelia with a syrinx from my T3-T12, 3 herniated disks, 1 crushed disc and a lot of disc degeneration throughout the back. I see a Neurosurgeon tomorrow for that issue. Is the blood in the mucus a huge concern? I look forward to hearing your opinions on this matter TIA Regards Worried Joanne in Ontario, Canada
