Hello, Thanks for writing to HCM. ovarian cysts are veey much common and usually 50 percent have a ovarian cyst. Size is rather more important. Since ur ultrasound measures the size as 10 cm which is quite significant and it may cause pain abdomen and bloating due to back pressure on stomach and intestinal. Though mostly they are caused by hormonal action and may resolve on their own but if its a larfe one and causes pressure symptoms than it must be operated upon. I recommend u to take treatment under guidance of a gynecologist and if it doesn't resolve than surgery is advisable. Thanks Hope my answer Will be helpful to u.
