Thanks for using Health Care Magic.

Read your query.

Chronic gingivitis is usually associated with bad taste , bleeding from gums and many other symptoms . Controlling the sugar levels is very important in a diabetic to prevent the gum disease.

If I were your treating dentist I would advice you to continue with the antibiotics , maintain your sugar level for proper healing of the socket and to prevent more infection.
Salt water gargling will be helpful.

Once the socket is heal , have your teeth cleaned from the dentist .Oral hygiene is very important to prevent the recurrence of symptoms .

Hope this was helpful.
Thanks and regards.
