Could Alcoholic Smell Affect Fetus?

I m 13 weeks pregnant today. Yesterday I went to clean something I using rubbing alcohol. I had gloves on. After  using it for about 5 minutes the smell got extremely strong and gave me a slight head ach for about 10 minutes. Do I need to be conserned that the smell/fumes could have harmed my baby? That was the first and last time I have used it while pregnant.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is not likely that the rubbing alcohol would have caused any damage to you or your baby.

It is not toxic.

If you have to use it again, make sure that the area is well ventilated to avoid any other reactions.

I hope this helps
